Analyst, Strategic Capital We have a permanent opportunity for an Analyst to join our Strategic Capital team, providing accurate and timely analysis, reporting and forecasting information to help Group wide strategy formulation and planning. What you will be doing in this role Support Management, Business Development and the Portfolio Analysis team by assisting with the preparation of relevant Group financial analysis and insights during formulation of corporate strategic initiatives and assessing potential investment opportunities. Support the preparation of Group level analysis and evaluations, including peer analysis, target setting and Group level assumption setting.
Support the preparation of Group analysis relating to economic scenarios, as part of the long term forecast or strategic reviews as required. Assist with the ongoing assessment of the Group strategy, to ensure Management is aware of key strategy Risks and Opportunities. Support the CIO Group in reviewing potential Mergers & Acquisitions and Divestures, by supporting the preparation of financial scenario analysis and Group impact assessments, assisting with the design and maintenance of the Corporate financial models.
Prepare accurate and effective communication materials and reports as required and in a timely matter. Utilise analytical methods to identify improvement opportunities, seeking to gain synergies using the appropriate data, systems and tools available. Support the building of strong working relationships with key stakeholders to solve issues, leverage opportunities and influence Group performance.
Coordinate escalations as required between Stockland and Partner including identifying and escalating risks as required. What we are looking for Appropriate tertiary qualification/s and CA/CFA or equivalent accreditation is required Experience in analytical focussed roles in finance or accounting Strong analytical skills Demonstrated time management skills Ability to multi task and prioritize Ability to identify inefficiencies and areas for system / process improvement Why Stockland?
