We are now on the hunt for an experienced Project Manager for restaurant builds to join our Design and Development team in a permanent capacity. If you are passionate about Hospitality, Design… AND Burgers then keep reading What we are looking for: Someone who is brimming with enthusiasm and can articulate their vision and pitch their ideas, project plan & budget successfully to senior management, architects, mechanical engineers & suppliers alike. A talented project manager who relishes ownership of projects from end to end.

An influencer who can deliver results on time and budget, drive projects & bring a wealth of experience managing projects with personality & enthusiasm. What You’ll be Doing: You will be an integral part of the Design & Development team, driving the Grill’d Group program of works, refurbishing existing restaurants and opening amazing new restaurants designed to connect our brand and product to the customer experience. Managing design agencies & architects as well as mechanical engineers & builders to ensure design integrity & functionality focusing on unique designs which elevate Grill’d brand experience Working with a small pool of builders/shopfitters to tender Grill’d jobs.

Analyse and assess these tenders so that quality, price (without variation) and on time delivery of restaurants within budget can be achieved Liaising with shopfitters throughout the construction program to ensure successful completion/opening of restaurants Overseeing fit-out and manage/accept handover where defects are agreed and fixed within stated timeframe including all relevant warranties, permits, etc Managing direct relationships and setting pricing with our core equipment suppliers Liaising with the council directly on matters of planning and licenses & also landlords and lessors Managing restaurant development schedule/timeline ensuring communication with relevant internal & external stakeholders Effectively negotiating all key stakeholders to ensure timely and cost effective outcomes are achieved Controlling costs and ensuring ‘best in class’ practices Analysing financial information to ensure effective cost management Assisting in developing other D&D team members to effectively perform their roles to a high standard What You Must Have; A love of all things Grill’d, especially our Burgers A passion for design & building bespoke projects A minimum of 5 years’ experience of project management from hospitality, retail or commercial environments,.
