We are now on the hunt for a talented and experienced Design Manager to join our Design and Development team in a permanent capacity. If you are passionate about Designâ€¦ AND burgers then keep reading The role: Reporting to the General Manager of Design and Development, this role will be primarily responsible for the design of Grillâ€™d restaurants, Koko Black Stores, Williams Burger Days and other potential Grillâ€™d Group Brands; ensuring all designs are on brand, delivered on time and to budget. It will also play a key part in the creation of new retail and hospitality formats for these brands as they evolve.
The Design Manager will liaise with all design agencies and architects to ensure design integrity and functionality of identified sites as well as ensuring the brand is delivered legitimately throughout all stages of design. A key part of the role will facilitate upgrades and improvements across our network of restaurants. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing Post Completion design reviews as well as working alongside project managers, shopfitters and builders to tender Grillâ€™d jobs including the assessment of these tenders based on quality, price and time-frames.
This role will include administration including the ongoing maintenance of the Design Standards, managing the restaurant design schedule and ensuring the effective storage of all development correspondence and plans in a central filling system.
