About the role We are seeking a motivated Communications Advisor with at least three yearsâ€™ experience in internal communications and employee engagement campaigns to join our team.
As part of our Human Resources and Stakeholder Relations team, you will work closely with colleagues across HR, Strategy and Retail Operations to create and execute compelling communications that support our organisationâ€™s strategy and underpin team engagement. You will be part of a small team that requires you to be self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and a focus on operational execution. About you The ideal candidate will need to hit the ground running and support the annual communications calendar, by delivering effective and timely internal communications to support engagement and provide communications counsel to key internal stakeholders.
The candidate must be an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player with some internal or corporate communications experience and a strong desire to learn and develop. The role is broad and includes administration tasks as well as some strategy development. To be successful in this hands-on role, you will be capable of adapting quickly to a fast-paced environment and willing to work across a broad range of activities to deliver effective communication outcomes.
The ideal candidate should have: Excellent copy writing skills, coupled with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Experience in the execution of a communication calendar including group-wide communications, town halls, campaigns and internal events Experience in utilising different communication channels for different audiences Ability to develop and deliver effective communications strategies and plans Hands-on corporate communications knowledge, preferably from experience in a large organisation An understanding of the Australian media landscape and experience operating Media Monitoring platforms to create media newsletters and coverage reports Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and design programs such as Indesign Ability to work independently, fly solo or in a collaborative team environment Prior experience in the retail sector or a large ASX-listed organisation will be an advantage, including understanding of ASX disclosure requirements.
