The Role We are currently seeking Desktop Analyst to support our expanding business in Australian. This role will report into IT Operations Lead in London office and the role will provide desk-side face to face and remote IT support across our global locations. The role of Desktop Analyst is a key role in our service delivery team responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer service, systems availability, performance and security of our technology assets.
It is often the first point of contact with end users and therefore a friendly, patient and professional attitude along with a first class customer service ethic is key to service delivery. You will be exposed to a culture of trust and responsibility where you are given the freedom to learn and the support network to help you excel. You will be challenged as well as provide challenge and solutions to others.

You will have either previous experience, or a strong desire to develop a career in the technology sector along with an associated level of technical expertise. Responsibilities include: Use of the companyâ€™s IT helpdesk system to properly log, triage, prioritise and progress end user support requests.
Efficient identification and resolution of PC, laptop, mobile and printer problems, both face to face or via telephone or remote support toolsets. User account management, liaising with HR to optimise the new start, departures and moves process. Ensure IT assets are properly recorded with asset identification tags, location and end user.
Supporting colleagues with the use and support of various standard software packages used throughout the business, such as Microsoft Office and Skype for Business and other line of business applications. Assisting with video conferencing facilities to ensure meetings run smoothly. Be a technical evangelist, spotting opportunities to better make use of technology throughout the business.
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Keep up to date of new technologies that may benefit our business. Requirements Qualifications: Microsoft Certified Professional qualification would be beneficial, but other relevant experience valuable. Basic understanding of enterprise IT concepts and working methods.
