Estimating Manager-ClientSide-Facilities Management/Maintenance



Our client is a prestigious provider of commercial facilities management and project delivery services. They work across several different sectors such as Commercial, Government, Education, Health, Defense, Utilities and Oil & Gas to name a few. They are looking for an Estimating Manager to join their growing team.

As the Estimating Manager, you are required to have experience in the trade industry with the ability to work on multi trade tenders to assist and lead the commercial components during a bid / tender within Facilities Managements contracts and projects while also ensuring systems and approvals are in place for daily quotations. Candidates can come from a Mechanical & Electrical services, Engineering or Trade background. Ideally with experience working on trade services (Fire, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or Carpentry).

Could be someone from a pure estimating background, engineering or trade background or a Project Manager that has pricing experience and is looking to work out of head office and mentor a small team. Reporting to: Operations Director Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Preparing & submitting Tenders and Quotations Assisting colleagues with estimating queries from different trades Assisting the Management team to reach company targets Creating reports and table of rates Help with preparing of budgets & variations Managing and mentoring a team Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or similar Minimum 5 years' experience in an Estimator role Proven ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously Excellent attention to detail Excellent Communication Skills – both written and verbal The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work on several projects concurrently Knowledge of contracts and pricing models Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and skilled using MS Excel (pivot tables, v-look-ups & formulas) This is a full time permanent position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
