Procurement Officer | Day to Day operations



Manpower is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our large Manufacturing client located in the Northern Suburbs. Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and assist the team in the day to day operational activities. Responsibilities: Support the day to day operational activities in regards to contracts, shortages and on time payments Support and assist in market scans Assist to identify and implement savings opportunities through bench marking and market analysis Oversee and manage the purchase of supplies, equipment, and materials.

Assist with networking within the business to identify opportunities for procurement to deliver value and savings Monitor agreed processes with the key internal customers to ensure procurement's early involvement in projects which will incur external spend To be successful in the role, you will possess: 2 years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Excellent project management skills Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills Excellent communication skills The ability to work independently or in a team environment Current open drivers licence and reliable transport Exceptional attention to detail How to Apply If the above sounds like you, please submit a current Resume and a detailed cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
