Permanent Part Time Sector leading pay and benefits Opportunities for career enhancement, progression and development The Centre KU Kookaburra Preschool, located in the heart of Wagga Wagga, provides preschool services for children aged 3 to 6 years old, Monday to Friday with an emphasis on play-based learning. The passionate team provide an inclusive environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover, and learn. KU Kookaburra is a nurturing preschool for children and their families through a program that fosters the children's independence and parental involvement.

au/childcare/centres/kukookaburra The Role This is a perfect opportunity for a Diploma qualified educator who is motivated, enthusiastic and child focused to join one of the leaders in early childhood education. This permanent part time position will see you working 7.6 hours every Friday during NSW school term times.

You will also have the opportunity access to available casual shifts within KU if desired. What we're looking for We want you to be as passionate about early childhood education and as committed to achieving positive outcomes as we are. In addition you will have: A recognised Diploma level of qualification in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA).

Current NSW Working with Children Check. Unlimited work rights to enable you to work in Australia. Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.

A current First Aid certificate which includes Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training. Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011). Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework.
