We support a flexible workplace and we are committed to an inclusive and diverse culture where differences are embraced About the role: The primary purpose of this role is assisting to mitigate regulatory risks by providing a professional AML/CTF monitoring, assessment and investigation service for the BOQ Group, focusing on suspicious matter monitoring and Detection Scenarios. This role is also responsible for assisting timely and comprehensive intelligence reporting to the AUSTRAC to ensure compliance with AML/CTF regulatory obligations as well as internal policies.

About you: To be successful in this role you will have previous experience within a financial institution, preferably within AML/CTF alert monitoring and investigations including PEP's and Sanctions Screening. In order to be successful for this position you will have two years plus experience in a similar role. Skills & knowledge: • Knowledge of the AML/CTF Act, including suspicious matter obligations and enhanced customer due diligence requirements • Understanding of the banking codes of practice and other relevant legislation including Privacy Act and Criminal Code • Understanding of Financial Crime Risk • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to apply sound judgement • Demonstrated ability to act in a discrete and confidential manner • Report writing skills • Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and achieve objectives • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to rapidly acquire proficiency across various internal systems • Ability to work autonomously as well as work collaboratively with others • Ability to liaise with and forge strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders About our Benefits: Discounted financial products Purchase annual leave BUPA Corporate Plan Salary sacrificing options Mentoring and leadership programs Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - MyCoach for Individuals and People Leaders Paid parental leave Paid volunteer days Gym discounts and much more How to apply: To apply for this role please follow the links, alternatively you can view the role on our Careers Page.
