Your duties will include: Develop Safety Assurance Plans Conduct Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment Workshops Develop Project Hazard Log and Risk Assessment Reports Develop System Safety Requirements Specification Manage Safety Requirements Register Manage the Safety Assurance Scope and Activities WHO YOU ARE: The successful candidate will have; Degree Qualifications in (Science, Engineering, Safety or equivalent). At least 3 yearsâ€™ experience in the Systems Safety Assurance role ideally within the rail industry Familiarity with rail operation procedures and guidelines Ability to analyse safety requirements, mitigate impact and define outcomes in safety reports and documentation Some knowledge of CENELEC standards (EN50126, EN50128, EN50129) Solid understanding of System and Safety Engineering Application of Safety standards, processes and techniques (SIL, AS 4801, ISO 9001, QRA, HAZID) Application of typical RAMS assurance software tools such as DOORS, ComplyPro, or similar WHAT NOW?
