Infrastructure Project Manager (Lifecycle Management) - Initial 12 month FT

About the Role The primary purpose of the Infrastructure Project Manager is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of Lifecycle Management projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management in order to deliver business value.
The key responsibilities include: Analyse project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks. Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline work plan. Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
Perform risk assessment, and implement mitigation plans. Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of the information, while providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the enterprise. Review status reports prepared by project personnel, and modify schedules or plans as required.
Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. About You To be successful in this role, you will have acquired solid previous experience within Infrastructure teams and how this work fits in with Security related work, and have garnered a number of yearsâ€™ project management experience, involving the execution of at least one Technology project ideally with full responsibility for end-to end delivery. We are looking for a strong leader to inspire others with in the project team to execute on their commitments, and build a strong, focussed delivery culture within the team.
You will present with strong written and verbal communications skills, be able to build strong stakeholder relationships right across an organisation, and have a strong understanding of different delivery methodologies that are fit for purpose such as Waterfall and Agile. We are looking for someone with good working experience of on and off premise environmentsâ€™, as the role will focus around transitioning to the Cloud.
