The Role An exciting opportunity has become available for a Psychiatry Registrar to work in the Northern Territory region of Australia. This role will see you working with a diverse range of cultures including rural and remote indigenous communities, allowing you to experience valuable training opportunities in the field of psychiatry. This is a fixed role from 03/02/2020 for a period of 2 years.
Essential Requirements of the Role include; Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and registration as a trainee with RANZCP Ability to meet the requirements of the RANZCP for admission as a Training Registrar A current NT driver's licence or the ability to obtain one The Service This position lies within a dedicated Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service connected with a major teaching hospital in the Northern Territory. The service provides rural and remote individualised and collaborative health assessments, case management and recovery focused treatment on a daily basis. Integral to the service is a focus on prevention and early intervention strategies with associated service providers.
