Northern NSW Operations (Elermore Vale, Port Stephens & Port Macquarie) Travel Required Part Time - 3 Days a week Aged Care | ACFI About the role Regis has a vacancy for a Part Time (3 Days a week) Funding & Documentation Specialist to join our Northern NSW operations support team. The Funding & Documentation Specialist is responsible for auditing ACFI claims and systems for congruence, accuracy and claim maximisation, along with providing mentoring and guidance on knowledge deficits identified through the delivery of training programs. The Funding & Documentation Specialist is also responsible for ensuring the wellness program is optimised in each facility.
This role will have an assigned portfolio of aged care homes to support. Key responsibilities ACFI assessments, maximising funding and reviewing ACFI processes to achieve best outcomes; Provide mentoring and coaching to achieve standardisation of ACFI processes and systems, and address identified ACFI knowledge deficits; Maintain current ACFI knowledge and share information with the continuous delivery of training and education to all care staff; Enter ACFI data into computer system and monitor expiry dates, annual reviews and new admissions; ACFI documentation, ensuring all folders and trackers are accurate and up-to-date; Develop and maintain relationships with Allied Health Contractors; Monitor and evaluate success of each facilityâ€™s Wellness Program; Ensure own and the teamâ€™s practice is consistent with the Regis Quality System Reward & benefits In recognition of the criticality of the F&D Specialist role within Regis, in the FY19-20 year you will be eligible to participate in the Regis Incentive Program. Annually, you will be eligible for a bonus of up to 20% of your base salary.
Achievement of the bonus is assessed against KPIs twice per year â€“ i.e. each six months, with any due payment made thereafter.

Your skills & experience Registered Nurse Division 1, holding APRHA Registration (desirable) Tertiary qualifications in training and assessment (desirable) Contemporaneous knowledge on legislation pertaining to the Aged Care Funding Instrument Previous experience with data analysis Change management experience Proven knowledge or formal qualification in health care financials and expense management Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality care, and the Regis Way, as well as a positive attitude towards care of the aged.
