This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join an expanding team to deliver cloud and infrastructure services to support the wider business. As a Senior Cloud Platforms Engineer, you will focus on managing and enhancing high-quality IaaS and Cloud-native services used by staff, other Health organisations and members of the public. You will ensure the availability and resilience of the cloud environment while providing best-practice advice, support and recommendations for supported IT business infrastructure, systems and services.

Our organisation is going through a period of transformation, and our Infrastructure team is responsible for providing solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business. You will get to collaborate with your team and stakeholders to define, design, configure, and support the private and public cloud infrastructure. This role will plan and execute improvement in cloud infrastructure operation and administration.

You will also assist in the resolution during major incidents and ensure that service is restored as quickly as possible, escalating when required and ensuring all stakeholders are informed. What skills will you need? Demonstrated technical experience making contributions to projects, platform management and operational support Exposure to working with Agile/Lean working practices including Scrum Understanding of optimisation of public cloud infrastructure Demonstrated experience contributing to design, operation and maintenance of: Public cloud environments, including: Azure Virtualisation environments, including: VMWare Outstanding commitment to customer service and internal & external customer experience Planning, analytical and diagnostic skills & Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to.
