Senior Business Analyst (12 month FTC)

About the role The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for engaging and supporting business, IT and finance stakeholders in the design, development, and implementation of various projects with the aim of driving efficiency, streamlining processes and systems to improve the experience of both staff and customers.

This role also involves analysing, documenting, proposing process and system improvements while ensuring these meet GPT’s strategic objectives and people management. Key responsibilities include To liaise and engage with key business stakeholders and facilitate the delivery optimisation projects, together with the Head of Retail Optimisation. Analyse complex business and user requirements, design user journeys, define workflows and produce high quality documentation and training materials Facilitate discovery and inception workshops to elicit requirements from key stakeholders Identify risks and assist with risk management Provide input and document training, testing and change management material Ensure the alignment of business processes and system functionality Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships and translate business requirements to technology solutions.

Working as a unified team by maintaining a strong working relationship with various business teams and with the Information Technology team to ensure compliance to GPT IT policies and strategies. People management responsibilities. What makes you stand out? 5 Years BA experience in technology Demonstrated ability to produce written documentation for a non-technical audience including business process maps, user stories and logical data models/entity relationship models Demonstrated ability to produce high quality written documentation for technical, project and development staff including: use cases, functional requirement specifications/user stories, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams Business analysis capabilities to engage and support business users in the design, development and implementation of reporting and analytical solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility. Experience around data analysis, data modelling, data integratio.
