Credit Support Analyst

Your Role An exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Support Analyst has become available within our Wealth & Capital Markets business. Reporting to the Head of Mortgages with dotted line to Head of Strategy & Support, you will assist in driving the implementation and ongoing management of debt funding at the mortgage portfolio level and analytics across the mortgages portfolios. Further, ensuring efficient processes and effective reporting are in place to support this activity.
Taking a key focus on the Trustees business, your role will involve private client work in addition to referrals made by Wealth & Capital Markets PEUs and business interests, and will require collaborative engagement with Legal, Risk and Compliance. Additionally, business development will be a key part of your role. To be successful in this position, you will hold: Several yearsâ€™ experience acquired within the Financial Services and/or Property industries Tertiary qualifications within Commercial Real Estate, Business or Economics and/or Finance Experienced in preparing credit submissions and involvement in structuring property development transactions Due diligence of a lending proposal to enable sound investment decisions with focus on project feasibility, funding structure and risk and return analysis Understanding of the property life cycle, preferably in both, residential and commercial Managing key stakeholder relationships and expectations is a key component of this role, therefore a need for highly developed interpersonal skills Financial modelling and analysis at a transaction and fund level, and the ability to review and interpret financial accounts Advanced computer skills particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Demonstrated initiative in completing tasks to tight deadlines and the flexibility to handle changing priorities Itâ€™s an exciting time to be joining Australian Unity â€“ we have grown significantly over recent years and are transforming to capitalise on further growth opportunities to help our customers and employees thrive.
