Test Manager - Regulatory Change UAT
A fantastic opportunity available for a Test Manager with a strong background in regulatory change to join Macquarie's Financial Management Group on a 12 month max term contract. In this important role you will support businesses through process and system change projects. The team need someone who has demonstrated experience in business analysis and project delivery and is confident working across functional teams.
Ideally you will have experience in project delivery for finance functions and new system implementations. Your key responsibilities will include: working with our technology team to track timing and completion of systems integration testing developing the UAT approach/strategy and drive the testing workstream Identifying entrance and exit criteria Confirming scope of testing with all parties (systems, recs, outputs, feeds etc) Ensuring IT have environments ready Using knowledge and experience to ensure test scripts have been properly developed by the Project Team for functional testing and Line SMEs for Acceptance testing Identifying/confirming resources involved (onshore and offshore) tracking progress of UAT tasks and hold involved parties accountable (create and manage JIRAs) reviewing defects and co-ordinate resources to resolve. Flag any defects for escalation.
signing off on exit criteria acquiring an understanding of current state processes and business context supporting the business through execution of business acceptance/user acceptance test cases managing, reviewing and analysing testing issues and identifying options and recommendations providing accurate and timely updates to the project manager and work stream leads. You'll need to bring to the role: the ability to get up to speed quickly regarding system architecture and testing needs experience with writing testing approach documents and executing plans exposure to managing multiple teams, including technology and change managers an understanding of how to provide adequate and appropriate updates at working groups and steering committees proven experience as a test manager working on business process change projects and new platform implementations experience within financial institutions working on financial platforms the ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills a flexible, proactive, solution-oriented approach flexible skill set and confident approach to tackling issues Prince2 or PMI qualifications are an advantage CA/CPA qualifications are an advantage.
