SVHM is one of Australia's leading Catholic not-for-profit healthcare providers. About Department The Centre for Palliative Care (CPC) is part of St. Vincent’s Hospital and is a Collaborative Centre of The University of Melbourne with a statewide role in palliative care education and research.

For more information, please see About the Role The successful candidate will provide general administration for the Centre to support its day-to-day operations; including supporting the professional activities of the education and/or research programs and related initiatives.

Classification for this position will be HS2 ($32.80 per hour) Duties Provide the Centre with effective and efficient administrative support as directed with a high degree of competency; including the day to day function of the office / Centre’s programs and activities Management of incoming calls, mail and reception Liaise with stakeholders in a professional and responsive manner Develop and maintain knowledge of Centre Calendar of Activities to support prompt handling of enquiries Maintain and develop accurate databases as relevant to the Centre Manage administrative needs of the Centre’s programs, events, forums and workshops including; venue bookings, creating flyers, event marketing, taking and collating registrations, preparing resource packs, collating evaluations and attendance and support at events where pertinent e.g.
