Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife Permanent Part Time – 40 hours per fortnight Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 2 Year 1-10 (Dependent on years of experience) with a midwifery allowance of 6.5% under the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020 MDHS is seeking a focused and experienced dual qualified Registered Midwife/Nurse to join the team in our Amherst Ward in a permanent position. In this role you will be responsible for promotion of the health and well-being of patients through the delivery of safe and effective care to both our Midwifery and General Medical/Surgical patients.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Essential KSC1 - Demonstrated organisational skills particularly with respect to time management. KSC2 - Demonstrated ability to contribute and practise collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

KSC3 - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation. KSC4 - Well developed interpersonal skills. KSC5 - Demonstrated written and computer skills at the level required to fulfil the role.
