An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join North East Crisis Assessment and Treatment Service (NE CATS) We are an integrated component of Austin Health's Mental Health Division and pride ourselves on being consumer recovery focused.
The NECAT service and its subprograms provide highly skilled clinical assessment and treatment options and work closely with local service providers and other specialist mental health services. This is an interesting and varied position offering a unique opportunity to utilise your specialist assessment and brief crisis intervention skills, provide specialist secondary consultations, network with stakeholders and carers and participate in quality improvement activities. To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities will include: Required skill set and qualifications include current registration with AHPRA or relevant governing body with at least 3 years experience in mental health engaging in enhanced mental health/risk assessment and management, well developed communication,networking and interpersonal skills.
