Accounts Payable Officer
Accounts Payable Jobs Melbourne CBD Your new company You will be working for a well established security firm who specialise in both commercial and residential who are in need of an Accounts Payable Officer to come board on a full time basis. Your new role You will be reporting into the finance manager and will be responsible but not limited to: â— Collation & daily entering of invoices / purchases (Simpro & MYOB) â— Seek authorisation and job numbers (where applicable) for invoices â— Preparing Payables / Payments â— Liaising and assisting suppliers with enquiries â— Manage Supplier limits, review charges to ensure minimized and accurate, manage supplier payments and ensure we have current supplier statements prior to preparation of creditor payments. â— Reconciliation of creditors with supplier's statements & subsidiary ledger â— Follow up & manage supplier / stock returns & credits â— Prepare cheques / arranging EFT payments for authorisation â— Reporting to Management/Owners â— Prepare and transmit files through various Banking facilities â— Handle transactions queries â— Setup Payroll Batch processing â— Administer payments of suppliers What you'll need to succeed You will have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
You will also have fantastic time management and the ability to prioritise when necessary. As well as this you will have experience in MYOB, clear and precise communication skills and intermediate to advanced excel.
