Statutory Planner job with Central Melbourne council working on varied projects, $45 per hour Your new company You will be working for a council based in Melbourne's Metro Area that has an excellent reputation in the Melbourne planning market. There are huge planning projects that you will get to work on and this council has a reputation for promoting contractors to senior roles if you are successful. Your new role You will manage an eclectic statutory planning portfolio from day one and assist with a variety of larger scale projects.
You will get a fare share of the interesting planning applications (not just the ones that permanent staff don't want to deal with) and you will have support and mentoring from senior staff. What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified town planner (international qualifications will be considered) with suitable rights to work in Australia. Ideally, you will have experience either with a Victorian Council, State Government organisation or a private sector planning firm and you will be considered for the role if you are ambitious and a quick learner.
