Experienced Customs Broker required for an immediate start Your new company Your new company has been operating for nearly a hundred years and is well respected in their industry. They now seek an experienced Customs Broker to cover 3-4 months maternity leave. Your new role Reporting to the general manager, you will use your solid experience in DAWR and IFIS lodgement, as well as eye for accuracy to ensure business runs smoothly.
The company prides themselves on their high level of customer service and you will communicate with clients that continues to reflect this. This role will see you providing timely advice to clients regarding enquiries in relation to tariff/classification along with being responsible for classifying and compiling entries, processing draw backs, refunds, applying for tariff concession orders, and keeping up to date with current legislation. Youâ€™ll provide registration and cartage support as well supporting your colleagues when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed You will be a licensed Customs Broker that has met the 2016-2017 CPD and CBC requirements. Exposure to AEP/Expedient systems would be an advantage but not necessary. Youâ€™ll be a team player that enjoys working in a small team and is a confident communicator but externally and internally.
