Internal Review Officer Required for Federal Government APS6 level Your new company Renowned for their positive mark in their sector, your new organisation are continuously developing procedures and pushing best practice to move the insurance sector forward and be able to provide optimal support to participants in the community. This organisation are seeking an experienced professional who has worked in case management, claims or assessing roles to assist in the development and implementation of their revised plans. Your new role You will be responsible for; Reviewing complex cases and determining eligibility for coverage.
Apply legislation while adhering to organisation guidelines and policies. Communicating directly with participants and confidently voicing decisions. Adhering to legislative time frames.
Investigating and analysing documentation while gathering additional relevant information from third parties. Ascertain a fair and reasonable outcome for all parties involved. Drafting decision letters.
What you'll need to succeed Applicants will additionally need to demonstrate; Previous experience applying legislation and/or policy coverage essential. Ability to prioritise workload. Excellent time management and communication skills.
Experience supporting people in difficult situations. Competency with IT Systems. Being a team player.
