Senior Landscape Architect job working with North Melbourne council Your new company You will be working in a North Melbourne based local council, situated close to metro and tram links. The council has a good reputation and offers perks such as flexible working hours, opportunities to progress to permanent and senior roles and a relaxed but successful environment. Your new role Reporting into the Design Team Leader, this role will see you working in a dedicated design team that incorporates both Landscape and Urban Design.

This vacancy has become available due to an increase in workload and a number of major projects that need dedicated landscape architects to manage. You will be responsible for project managing large developments worth $1.5 million and sports facilities as well as general smaller projects including a new plaza, signage, an interchange and a new bike path What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.

It’s important that you have highly developed communication skills and sound knowledge of AutoCAD. What you'll get in return In return for your experience, this Council offer competitive hourly rate of $50 per hour (higher rates considered for more experience) and a guarantee of a 6 month contract minimum, but likely to be extended. This is a varied position which will see you work as an integral part of the team in the completion of a variety of projects.
