Workforce Insights/People & Culture Transport Service Grade 7 ($98,955 - $110,830), plus employerâ€™s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Temporary Full Time Opportunity (up to 9 months) Located in Chippendale, next to Central Station The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Insights Analyst to be a part of our People & Culture team within Transport for NSW. This role provides business performance information and analysis to support the development, implementation and/or evaluation of people policies and programs to ensure that they support Cluster organisational business. This position reports to the Manager, Workforce Insights & Analytics.
Duties will include: Monitor, analyse and report on key Cluster people indicators to support the development of workforce planning and people strategies and ensure that they are aligned with the organisationâ€™s business objectives. Support the development of performance indicators and systems for monitoring strategies, particularly newly introduced programs, to ensure initiatives and programs are contributing to the achievement of business objectives. Research current workforce management technologies to ensure recommendations can be made to adopt the most appropriate technology for the organisation to develop the required analytical capability to effectively manage the Cluster workforce.
Provide expert advice and support to Cluster management and People Practitioners to interpret workforce metrics and strategic insights to ensure evidence-based decision making. Contribute to the research and analysis of current trends and best practice in workforce analytics to establish an evidence base to identify approaches and systems which best supports the achievement of the Cluster's business objectives. Provide insights for the development of business strategies and future planning.
Leverage existing workforce data to support Strategic Workforce Planning work to enable understanding of potential future workforce gaps and needs. We are looking for an Analyst who can develop more efficient and effective ways to generate insights that are useful and appropriate to business planning and performance review.
