Book Keeping – General Accountancy We’re moving our accountancy to Xero and looking for an energetic IT literate bookkeeper to join our team to assist us with our transition to Xero and our ongoing bookkeeping duties. As we are an online IT company, the position will suit a candidate that is IT literate and has knowledge with importing data into Xero from online data sources and via API. The position is suitable for a part time or full time candidate.

Hours are flexible. Immediate Start We are looking for an energetic person to join our small team which we have recently relocated to the Gold Coast. We a leading provider of internet security solutions to organisations around the world.

We are an established online business committed to protecting the data of individuals and businesses across the internet. The Position Reporting to the Director and accountants, your position will be to manage business payroll, accounts and financial reporting, while providing administration support for operational activities. This is a hands on role.

Some of your key responsibilities may include : Accounts payable and receivable ; Balance and maintain accurate ledgers ; Bank statements and merchant summary reconciling ; Management of Xero ; Reporting for business meetings ; EOFY reporting ; Payroll ; BAS, VAT and reporting ; General reports and other requested financial tasks ; Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts ; Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances ; Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets ; Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes ; General office and administration duties including filing and record management ; Purchase order management. Payroll Run monthly/ fortnightly pays. Accounts End to end accounting reporting in Xero ; Manage all supplier and operational accounts payments ; Manage all credit card payments ; Reconcile customer payments and invoicing, follow up outstanding accounts .

Reporting Run weekly monthly and quarterly annual sales reporting ; Run monthly, quarterly and annual P&L reporting ; Preparation of annual budgets ; Cash flow management and forecasting. Skills Required Experience using XERO as the accounting system is a requirement. Our organisation seeks to embrace new software technology and modern practices and requires a candidate with the ability to connect XERO with external data sources – such as our sales feed, bank feed, customer lists etc.
