RESPONSIBILITIES: The ISA Lead Assessor provides the overall management, coordination and leadership for the group that makes up the ISA team (subject matter experts assessing the subsystems). He/she will be responsible for the interfaces assessment and system integration assessment. Furthermore, the ISA Lead Assessor monitors the individual activities, compliance with the time schedule and milestones, and observes that the objectives defined for the individual Project phases are attained.

SKILLS: Must have demonstrated competence in risk and safety assessment techniques, examples include but are not limited to: System Assurance (RAMS), Hazard Analysis (PHA, IHA, O&SHA etc.), Design Safety Cases and Final Safety Case, FRACAS procedures and management, through implementation and interface with suppliers, Development of Technical Specification of Rolling Stock and Operation & Maintenance Principles for complex railway, Fault tree analysis (FTA), Failure modes and criticality analysis (FMECA), Hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), Event tree analysis (ETA), Cause consequence analysis and so on. QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE: Engineering Degree.

Minimum of 10 years in the use of Standards EN 50126, EN 50128 and EN 50129 on Rolling Stock projects, at system level. High level competency as Lead Assessor in rail transport with good knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 9000, ISO 9004 and ISO 14001. Previous experience in the scope of large railway projects.
