Beauty Spa Manager



MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Overseeing daily salon operations; Hiring and training beauticians, as needed; organizing employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality; maintain staff records, including salaries and working schedules; Order beauty products, determines product mix and required stock levels; Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment; Follow required OHS requirements and apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations; Ensure all beauty treatments meet high quality standards; Promote services, products and discounts on social media; run online competitions and offer discount packages to attract new customers; Keep a strong client base and ensure customer satisfaction to increase revenues Receive payments from clients and track all transactions and keep updated records of costs and revenues (daily); Report to business owners on weekly basis. QUALIFICATIONS: at least Bachelor Degree level Additional certification in Beauty Therapy or Cosmetology is a plus EXPERIENCE: At least 3-5 years proven work experience as a Beauty Salon Manager or similar role Previous experience as a beautician is a plus Good knowledge of beauty treatments and products (Dermalogica & Skinstitut) Knowledge and experience in the following beauty treatments: Facials, Waxing, Massage, Tinting and Permanent Hair Removal SKILLS: Basic bookkeeping knowledge Excellent organizational skills Ability to handle customers’ requests and complaints with grace; Team leadership and development Inventory control.
