Unleash your imagination and lead a team to deliver commercial outcomes Leadership opportunity in a high performance, innovative team Develop your career with one of Australia’s most trusted household brands The Opportunity Reporting to the Sales Director, this pivotal role will build and develop a market-leading strategic category management team of 4-5, based in Padstow. Within this influential seat, you will be the key interface between sales and marketing teams to drive excellence in-store and with online execution. A member of the Commercial Leadership Team, you will partner with the business to introduce and embed category-first thinking and strategic category management practices, as well as supporting senior sales colleagues to produce clear annual key account plans and compelling field team cycle plans.

What you will bring and develop To be considered for this integral role you’ll be known for your strategic thinking and natural ability to influence. You will have a passion for ownership of a function; and will be motivated by developing talent within your team. Ideally you can also demonstrate: 10 years’ Sales and Category Strategy experience within FMCG working in cross functional teams Collaborative and strategic people leadership experience Hands-on experience writing Category Visions & Strategies, and a history of connecting these back to business drivers and brand strategies Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to translate this to effective decision making Proven ability to develop and execute customer JBP’s complete with metrics and regular joint reviews Relevant tertiary qualification.
