Business Development Partner - Travel Partners



Role: Business Development Partner Reporting to: Business Development Manager & Head of Sales Department: Sales & Marketing Role purpose : The purpose of this role is to generate growth initiatives for Travel Partners through the recruitment of new customers and servicing of existing customers in the Travel Partners group across all business models: Travel Partners Mobile Agents and Travel Partners Member Agencies Key Relationships: • BDM and sales team • Leadership team • Head office personnel • Travel Partners Network • Prospective industry customers Tasks & Responsibilities (specific for this role) FUNCTIONAL • Generation of leads and development of sales pipeline • Grow preferred sales through Travel Partners network • Build and maintain relationships with interested parties • Prospect for leads at Industry events, networking events and inbound inquiries • Use Salesforce to enter all leads, opportunities and conversions • Achieve sales targets • Provide weekly sales reports to management • Initiate network member applications from interested parties • Undertake Travel Partners presentations as requested to progress the sales process • Provide proposals in collaboration with Manager • Complete sales and activity reporting as required by your Manager • Close sales • Other duties as directed by management For the Workplace: Duties necessary for all staff to fit into the company team & culture • Adhere to behaviours that will assist in achieving Company goals, Strategies and Values • Adhere to Human Resource policies including anti-discrimination, harassment and victimisation • Adhere to Work Health & Safety policies and proactively contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and healthy work environment • Display a positive attitude and be an active member of the team • Have a partnering approach to customers and stakeholders and help them meet their goals by providing high quality and professional services • Conduct yourself in an ethical manner at all times Key Result Areas: Role specific areas that will be assessed to indicate success Financial: • Achieve agreed sales targets for each of the business models • Achieve sales revenue to meet targets • Customer retention Business Process: • Provision of proposals within agreed timeframes • Submission of reporting as required by Manager & business • 100% timeliness of data Customer Satisfaction: • Agency feedback • Client satisfaction survey feedback Self & Team: • Participation in team events as required • Completion of training as directed by your Manager Company Values/Behaviours required: Attitudes & behaviours that are assessed for company culture fit • Communication • Commitment • Respect • Fun Selection Criteria Essential: Required skills, experience & attitudes to under.
