Building Support Officer



Building Support Officer Temporary Full Time till August 2021 Band 4 - $61,648 per annum plus super An opportunity exists in our Building Services Department to be part of our Business Support Team. This busy position is part of the team that is the first point of contact for Council building enquiries. Your main responsibilities will include: Providing quality, accurate, timely and effective administrative support and assistance to the Building Services team Ensuring applications, permits and complaints are responded to accurately, within set timeframes and in accordance with the relevant legislation Providing timely and accurate information to members of the community and other council departments To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated experience in an administration environment, a commitment to delivering an excellent standard of customer service and a high level of organisational skills.

Experience in, or understanding of, Local Government and/or the building industry would be an advantage. You will need to provide evidence of your right to work in Australia, a current Working with Children Check and a current Driver Licence. You must also be willing to provide a Pre-Employment Health Declaration and undertake a National Police Record Check.
