About the Role The Manager, Certification and Regulatory Affairs is based in our national Head Office in Adelaide and reports to the Head of Product Strategy, this role is responsible for ensuring that Certification Programs and supporting activities for MMALâ€™s product range are planned and delivered. You will also provide advice in relation to Product Certification and Regulatory issues.
In addition to this your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Circulating details and advice on impending regulatory and non-regulatory trends on safety, the environment and theft reduction applicable to current and future products Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders regarding Design Rules, Regulations and Interpretations thereof. Liaise with Federal and State Government Authorities as needed to resolve problems effecting certification, investigations and registration of company vehicles Plan and implement certification programs to ensure compliance approvals are achieved according to project deadlines Ensuring that all product related regulatory and statutory reporting requirements are met Represent MMAL at selected member organisations and industry technical committees. The Successful Applicant To be successful in the role you will; Be degree (preferred) or trade qualified in a suitable Engineering field MBA qualification is highly desirable Minimum 5 yearsâ€™ experience in a similar role preferred Strong knowledge of the Australian Automotive Industry Strong negotiation and strategic direction setting skills Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, financial and statistical skills Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project) What we Offer A career with Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited will be both Challenging and rewarding, providing growth opportunities and the prospects to advance your career, you will be part of a diverse and dynamic work environment where you will have access to employee benefits and volunteer days.
