Account Manager - JETSTAR

The Role Medium Rare are expanding and are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and solution-led sales professional to join their team at Southbank, VIC.
The primary responsibility is to develop and grow a client base within advertising agencies. Reporting to the Victorian Group Sales Manager Travel & Luxury, this role will see you working with a dedicated national sales team across Jetstar Media where youâ€™ll be responsible for the digital, ambient and print sales across the Jetstar business in Victoria. Maximise an existing client partnership and create and maintain strong relationships with clients in the sector.
Leverage relationships through a solutions-selling approach and provide strategic media account management. Provide hands-on account management including client collaborations and project management of key campaigns across print, digital and content integration. Respond to client and agency briefs and in turn negotiate at senior levels.
Assume the role of a trusted media advisor with a core focus on fostering strong media partnerships, retaining and growing key accounts and acquiring new business across a thriving portfolio. Who you are Weâ€™re seeking a sales professional with demonstrated account management experience, proven track record of a solution-led sales approach and a can-do attitude. Ideally, your background is across both print and digital within a media and/or magazine environment.
Youâ€™re proactive in identifying and prospecting new clients and partnerships. You can drive sales strategies across various platforms for both revenue growth and retention. You can work to tight deadlines and are highly organised.
You are forward-thinking and thrive within a high-performance culture which motivates you to achieve your sales targets and drive results. You are an excellent communicator and can confidently present to all groups. You are known for your enthusiastic nature, self-motivated work ethic and team player approach.
