Sales Channel Manager



We are working with a non profit that has undergone significant change and alignment over the past 12 months to ensure the organisation is best positioned to deliver programs and services to meet community needs. We have a unique opportunity to work with the Head of Sales to create and manage innovative channel development strategies across our client’s diverse customer base. Supporting the organisation's programs and services with a focus on quality and continuous improvement, success will be determined by alignment of channel activities across the organisation to deliver industry-leading sales results.

This position is varied, and the responsibilities and accountabilities will include; Strategy and Business Development – lead the implementation of the channel development strategy with internal and external stakeholders including integrated cross channel customer acquisition and retention strategies to support brand and service programs. Operational Management – Develop and lead the implementation of effective sales, promotion and distribution plans across multiple channels including direct, digital and third party channels. Relationship Management – Develop and maintain effective industry and stakeholder networks to support brand representation, and sales performance.

Team Leadership and Management – in consultation with the Head of Sales, manage the day to day effectiveness of the channel development team including providing nurturing and growth opportunities for the team to perform competitively within the market. To be successful in this role you’ll be a strong leader with a passion for sales and an understanding of how sound strategies influence business outcomes. Experience leading a team with a variety of roles, objectives and levels of responsibility will be highly regarded as well as experience developing and implementing effective sales and communications strategies across multiple programs, services and channels.

The successful candidate will have experience; Understanding contemporary sales development practices and technologies; Developing and implementing effective channel development strategies for a range of programs and services across multiple sales channels. Analyzing customer analytics and reporting; Working with other business units to develop effective multi-tiered sales objectives; Leading, managing and developing teams with a diverse range of responsibilities; Managing internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and objectives; Relevant industry experience and an understanding or alignment to the NFP sector will be highly regarded as will relevant qualifications in business, marketing or related discipline.
