Education provider Work for a supportive and creative team Develop your PowerBI, SSRS and Crystal Reports skills About the role: This position is responsible for the review and development of a management information system/database to track academic workloads. The role will undertake analysis of existing systems, identify relevant alternatives and implement the agreed management information system/database. Responsibilities: Conduct data analysis and review of existing workforce management tools to develop a set of recommendations and options Develop, deploy and maintain an information management system, in the form of one or more web applications, across all institutional sites and core teams to ensure high levels of data availability Provides technical support for the maintenance of these applications and integration of data generated with existing databases Ensures that data collected are entered into the appropriate database for analysis and that records are kept appropriately Ensure adequate quality control and testing processes for the database systems, and maintains data integrity systems and protocols About you: A Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science with at least 5 years' experience in programming (other research or scientific degrees desirable) Experience in usage of SPSS Statistics Extensive experience in database development and maintenance (5 years minimum) Relevant experience in related field, sound knowledge creating highly interactive dashboards in Power BI and tabular reports in SSRS ReportSaver Database Intimate with the software engineering processes, including scoping, design and lifecycle Understanding of modern database development and best practice techniques, including agile methodology, continuous integration and deployment Highly adaptive, with an ability to learn new technologies and new research skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Advanced excel, including macro and pivot tables Culture: People enjoy working in this team because they are well supported by management and friendly colleagues who are open to innovation and change.
