Quality and Risk Manager - Operations
About the Business and Role Our client is a results-focused consultancy that provides EPCM services to the mining, minerals and energy resource sectors. Their clients include some of the largest resource companies in the world and you will have the opportunity to work as a commissioning manager on large scale projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality and risk activities on the project which will include maintaining and improving QA in the project management plan.
Responsibilities Support project delivery management system to meet client requirements and expectations Develop the risk management procedure for the Project Controls team. Coordinate the contractor regarding compliance to the project management plan and quality management plan Facilitate all risk reviews with project delivery Plan and support project delivery management system to meet contractual requirements Requirements Tertiary qualifications in physical sciences 5 yearsâ€™ in a senior QA/QC position QA, critical risk management and change management formal training 10 yearsâ€™ in construction or engineering industry Ability to liaise and communication with various stakeholders including team members, clients and contractors Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability Culture and Benefits The successful candidate will be offered a long-term position for an immediate start.
