Clinical Facilitator - Cardiac Services
About the role Mater Education currently has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a professional Clinical Facilitator- Cardiac Services to join the team in permanent part time capacity (38 hours per fortnight) based at our South Brisbane campus. This role will see you working as a member of the Mater Education Team within Mater Health's Cardiac Services to collaboratively provide education to the multidisciplinary team. You will be primarily responsible for clinical facilitation of all staff within the Cardiac Services .
Mater Education has a global commitment through the education team across the campus to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, evidence-based patient care and monitoring of unit based and organisational objectives. In addition provide and promote clinical expertise and clinical leadership by promoting critical thinking and clinical problem solving skills. Salary range: $44.
08 - 47.23 per hour plus superannuation What youâ€™ll be doing Specific role expectations include (but not limited to): Coordinate and evaluate education activities within a best practice education and Practice Development framework Liaise with other Clinical Facilitators and Education Coordinators to enhance skills and consistency of clinical practice Regularly identify learning needs via learning needs analysis, critical incident analysis, review of new evidence and through Annual Education Reviews (AERs) Continuously work towards improvements within a Continuous Improvement Framework Apply an Inter-professional learning framework to learning and development activities About you To be considered for this role you must have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions) Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant specialty (Nursing/Midwifery and/or Education) or working towards same Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards- delete this section, they have to have this Minimum of 3 yearsâ€™ experience in relevant specialty Current advanced clinical knowledge and experience in relevant specialty and ability to be innovative in practice High level knowledge of contemporary issues affecting healthcare and clinical education and the ability to translate this into education delivery within Mater Knowledge of continuous improvement process and the ability to initiate, coordinate and evaluate quality improvement Competence in using electronic information systems This role represents an exceptional development opportunities for a highly experienced nursing professional keen to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career path in clinical education.
