Pre-Works Planning Supervisor

Our current project pipeline extends 20 years and is valued at more than $1.

8 billion. We are now accepting applications for a Pre-works Planning Supervisor to join our Western Roads Upgrade team based in Laverton, VIC. The purpose of this role is to achieve optimum production and cost outcomes through the development of detailed work packages for the delivery of the Contract which includes scoping all plant, labour and material to deliver the works.

Key responsibilities include: Develop detailed work packages for routine maintenance and minor civil engineering works covering pavement, roadside infrastructure and structures. Scope all plant, labour and material to deliver the works including SHEQ, traffic management and customer communication requirements. Work with the Network Delivery Hub (NDH) to monitor the effectiveness of production methods and production performance Planning and scheduling own and team’s work to meet required timelines Monitor subcontractor performance and delivery against program Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety legislation.

Key Experiences, Skills and Qualifications Extensive Civil Construction / Road Maintenance experience Supervisory experience Cert IV in Training and Assessing (Desirable) High level of experience of work tasks scheduling and mobility tools. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and meticulous approach. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to achieve tight deadlines with high degrees of quality and understanding Understanding of contract conditions and relevant legislation. High level of knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products. Methodical style of working.
