Inbound DC Team Leader - Morning shift
You will be a highly motivated and driven professional leading a team of 10 in the distribution centre of an FMCG retail business. You will be responsible for the dispatch, receipt and management of goods within the organisation whilst managing KPI's to drive the business forward. Client Details Our client is a reputable Australian FMCG company supplying retailers across the World.
They are an established business that are looking for someone who can bring their strong background in warehousing and team leadership to the team. Description The key responsibilities of the DC Team Leader include but are not limited to: Overall OH&S compliance within the VIC warehouse Responsible for the day to day operations of the team members within their designated department Development of continuous improvement programme to deliver industry leading best practice Co-ordinate and allocate work as required to meet plans in most cost effective / efficient way while meeting safety compliance requirements Implementation of KPI's to drive operational excellence and identify areas for improvement Profile To be considered for the role you will have held a warehouse leadership position managing a team of at least 10 people within an FMCG environment. In addition to this the following skills/experience are required: Excellent communication skills 2-5 years experience as a warehouse manager, supervisor or team leader Experience using SAP or equivalent tier 1 systems Experience within a large DC environments will be beneficial Proven experience driving KPI's within warehousing Ability to be a dynamic individual and adapt to change quickly Fork Lift licence beneficial Job Offer This is an opportunity to manage a team within a global company during a period of sustained growth, within a highly entrepreneurial and passionate team.
