Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, Lyell McEwin Hospital Indicative Total Remuneration: $75,661 - $103,935 (pro rata) - RN/M1; $87,817 - $112,041 (pro rata) - RN/M2C - Multiple positions: Temp F/T & P/T (up to 18/12/2020) Lyell McEwin Hospital is seeking self-motivated and innovative Registered or Clinical Nurses looking to step up to the next level and join its strong and supportive Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the board, you will be responsible for assisting with the provision of professional high quality patient care within ICU, which is aimed at improving patient health outcomes. With the opportunity to use a variety of skills, your duties will involve assessing patients’ needs, planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate service delivery options and communicating changes in condition and care.

You will also assist with monitoring client care plans and participating in clinical auditing and evaluative research to ensure appropriate patient care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis. With state of the art facilities, the Lyell McEwin Hospital is fast becoming a major tertiary facility. It has close links with the local community that it serves and is dedicated to fostering a culture of trust, integrity and respect.

Registered as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. To be a strong contender, you will have a solid background in critical care nursing practice which is responsive to patients’ needs. A team player with the demonstrated ability to think on your feet and work within changing environments, you will bring a proven track record in working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Good organisation skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision. You will also possess good communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
