What is the role? Based in Sydney , reporting to the Demand Planning Manager you will play a pivotal role in profitability of our portfolio and its growth ambitions in the Pacific region. As a Demand planner , your primary objective will be To drive forecast/demand Integration Analyze sales forecast vs revenue forecast and identify core gaps Assign root causes for gaps and mitigate them in forecast meetings Evaluate impact of sales forecast on working capital, on time delivery service Evaluate forecast accuracy and bias with standard root cause codification Your key mission in this role will be to lead and animate the collaborative process with key participants as offer management, commercial and finance and provide the unconstraint forecast to supply planning, through a forecast handover cadence. Highlight key changes undertaken between previous forecast cycle vs current forecast cycle.
You will be supporting, key assumptions and changes undertaken in a forecast cycle and addressing it in SIOP. Why you? You are an Excel guru and passionate about data science. Data Analysis and Interpretation is your strength with strong experience in supply chain in a complex fast paced environment.
Additionally, you will possess the following essential skills and experience Experience in Supply Chain (production, purchasing, logistics, planning) Highly skilled in Statistical Modelling, Planning Certification (IBF certified) Strong analytical, statistical, data-processing experience Knowledge of tools: ERP, Forecasting tool (Kinaxis), MS Excel; MS Access, Business Intelligence tools, such as, Tableau, Anaplan Working in a cross-functional collaborative environment A Bachelor?s degree or above Whilst not wanting to narrow the field, we do believe that the following will be key to your success Supply Chain knowledge Business and Marketing understanding Knowledge of similar products and demand trends will be highly regarded Highly developed communication skills with the ability to influence and convince others Strong ability to facilitate and lead meetings with business stakeholders Decision making and solid problem-solving skills Customer centric, collaborative and results oriented All applicants must have wor....
