A new and unique part-time opportunity of Regional HR Partner- Victoria and Tasmania has become available within QBE’s Australia-Pacific operations based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this role will contribute to the success of QBE through the provision of strategic local HR solutions and provide advice and coaching for the local leaders. With demonstrated knowledge and experience in building and fostering strong and collaborative relationships with key executive stakeholders, you will be given a fantastic opportunity to drive culture and engagement initiatives, drive the uplift of leadership capability and driving a diverse range of exciting business initiatives at a local level, supporting the success of the broader function and organisation.

The opportunity Contribute as a member of both the HR Business Partnering and site leadership teams to plan and implement a wide range of HR programs and initiatives, including those focused on talent management, engagement, culture change, leadership capability, diversity and inclusion and process improvement. Be a trusted advisor on people and culture within the region, and providing key local insights to assist with future strategic initiatives and support.

Build and maintain key relationships with local leaders, HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, and regional employees. Influence and drive a positive culture and employee experience for the region. Manage the delivery of HR programs of work, including talent programs, annual merit reviews, and employee surveys.

What does success look like? Extensive experience in a dedicated senior HR Business Partner or broad generalist role within a large, complex and fast-paced commercial environment, including multi-site and sales environments. Demonstrated experience in business partnering at an executive level across complex business structures. Strong resilience and the ability to prioritise different needs in a matrix organisation structure.
