Site Operations Manager
Our client requires a driven and commercially astute individual to join their team as Site Operations Manager, leading their operations team in Geelong. Client Details A highly entrepreneurial organisation that takes pride in their best in class logistics and supply chain operations, specialising in the import and distribution of high-quality products to customers across a number of industries and on a global scale. Description The overall purpose of this newly created role is to cement our clientâ€™s business as a service orientated value-adding supplier that delivers on their commitments.
This position will be the principal operational lead and focal point for the Geelong Site, which includes but is not limited to; ensuring safety remains number one priority for all staff and associated stakeholders, ensuring SLAâ€™s are adhered to with both suppliers and customers, capital & operational expense budgets / execution, shipping & transportation processes, driving cost saving initiatives, identifying additional potential revenue streams, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure company wide initiatives are being driven at site level. This leadership role will drive performance by holding the team accountable, collaborating and making key decisions across the group. You will manage the overall site operations to maximise customer service and ensure capital and operational targets are achieved whilst complying with environmental and health and safety regulations.

Profile You will need to be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline and be able to demonstrate a strong track record of leadership within Logistics Operations, or a Manufacturing environment. We are seeking a results orientated driven individual, with a flair for building strong interpersonal relationships and the ability to forge teamwork and collaboration.
Your experience will be embedded within Operations, Distribution and Warehousing, ideally with experience in new site set ups, diversification/upgrades of company infrastructure in order to fulfill evolving customer requirements. Experience in leading continuous improvement projects and the ability to convey tangible outcomes is essential for consideration. Exposure to bulk handling within a shipping environment will also be looked upon favourably.
