About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and dedicated Water and Sewer team. You will operate and maintain electrical instrumentation and control equipment, liaise with contractors on-site and conduct routine electrical work audits and approvals. Our Water and Sewer Staff manage 2 Dams, 3 Water Treatment Plants, 29 Water Reservoirs, 15 Water Pump Stations, 6 Sewer Treatment Plants and 64 Sewer Pumping Stations, all operational activities related to the water supply across the Shire.

Salary range from $73,191 - $84,901pa 9.5% super, 38 hour week., 9 day fortnight.

NB: Applicants who reside outside of the Wingecarribee Shire, will not have access to a Commuter Use Operational Vehicle under Council’s Vehicle Management Policy. About You To be successful in this position you will have Electrical trade qualifications and/or certificate III in Electrotechnology A current NSW electrical commercial licence. Understanding and experience with Electrical Automation hardware Knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance activities Knowledge and skills in the use of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and other work-related systems Ability to work in a multidiscipline team Current class “C” Drivers Licence.

There will be a requirement to work on-call arrangements on occasions.
