Your primary duty will be to advise Command.
You'll contribute to the Navy mission by providing specialist advice in the core areas of legal practice in the Navy, which are: â€¢ military discipline, â€¢ military administrative law, and â€¢ military operations law. In addition to the provision of specialist legal advice, you may also appear as an advocate in Defence inquiries, or as a prosecuting or defending officer before court martials and ADF magistrate trials. In common with all government lawyers, you will be required to gain knowledge in a wide range of areas of law.
