Our Client & Market Growth team Our national Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison is a high performing and critical component of the firm and essential to the firm's success. The team supports the partnership by providing the full spectrum of business development and marketing services to ensure the firm develops and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Your role This position is focused on the development of strategy and driving growth within our Transaction Solutions Business Unit. This covers a wide range of Corporate and M&A work including Public M&A, Private M&A, Governance, Private Equity and Equity Capital Markets. The Business Unit requires a senior business development professional to lead the business development activities for the group, working collaboratively with market-leading legal and business development professionals.

The role would suit an experienced Senior Business Development Manager, or an experienced Business Development Manager ready to progress to the next stage of their career. Your responsibilities include: working with the business unit lead and other partners and legal staff firm wide to develop and execute strategies to achieve the business growth plans for M&A driving and supporting the preparation of pitches in conjunction with partners and legal staff; a role that varies from leading a team to deliver larger opportunities through to being hands on and delivering proposals in their entirety assist with proactive development of client and network relationships to build a pipeline of work and lead responses to significant opportunities supporting the growth of business development skills across the legal practitioners in the business unit through formal and informal coaching and guiding of interactions with clients and networks designing and executing campaigns to further develop MinterEllison's market positioning assisting with the management and development of junior team members We welcome applications from people with: marketing and/or sales experience in a robust and mature services environment, ideally B2B or professional services with experience working in a corporate practice highly regarded tertiary qualifications in marketing, c.
