Australia - Western Australia, Perth Job Summary AECOM’s Water Team is looking for experienced and motivated Professional/Senior Water & Wastewater Engineer. Working alongside a team of highly motivated and Experienced Engineers, you will play an integral part of managing, designing and delivering a range of water projects across Western Australia and other regions within Australia. The key responsibilities for the role are; Delivering concept designs, detailed designs, and construction support for network and treatment projects including pumped and gravity flow hydraulics, pumping stations, pipeline, treatment works etc.

; Delivery of high-quality and timely technical outputs that meets with client expectations; Proactive in project delivery to maintain high performing, engaged and supportive team culture; and Support business development activities. Minimum Requirements The successful candidate will be able to prove a background in the civil / mechanical design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects. Experience is process design would be considered beneficial.

Ability to manage own workload and that of others to achieve deliver on time and to budget. Previous experience in a multidisciplinary design team as either a design lead or design manager is preferred. 7 years' of relevant professional experience on water and wastewater projects within a design environment Network and treatment planning and design experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options to arrive at a preferred solution – water, recycled water, sewerage Knowledge of water industry standards, codes, and common practices in the industry Experience in 3D design (AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D or equivalent) – desired but not essential Construction site and/or commissioning experience - desired A passion for achieving excellence in the water industry and as a team player Excellent oral and written communication skills An ability to travel as required for project and business development activities Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of civil or mechanical engineering (or equivalent) – essential Eligible for membership to the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
