Here's a taste of what you’ll be doing We have an exciting opportunity available to join the Hilton Food Solutions team Based in Sydney, the Senior Buyer will work closely with core vendors, using your extensive knowledge of the local and global market to ensure we are managing stock levels, supplying appropriately & maximising revenue. You will have a strong determination to succeed, hunger to make an impact, and ability to hit the ground running and use initiative. Set up & coordination of 200t of protein procurement Working with and developing tendering / control measures through Foods Connected Growing relationships and key partnerships with our Australian supply base Management of accounts administration such as invoicing & GRNs Working closely with planners, technical, intake, accounts and category team within Hilton Foods Australia Creation and communication of the weekly Australian market update report Project work – researching of ingredients suppliers into Woolies / availability & gaining quota for export back to UK & EU / explore export opportunities to UK & EU Develop & explore food service and other non-retail partnerships in Australia The ingredients for success Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role - managing stock levels, supplying appropriately & maximising revenue Relevant qualifications Working knowledge with tendering process Ability to identify and support growth and efficiency opportunities and drive transformational initiatives.

Excellent communication / interpersonal skills and ability to provide operational information and results to Site and National leadership teams Excellent organisational skills, ability to work under pressure in a professional manner with a focus on the detail.
