Senior Sales Manager - Technology / Financial Services
Opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join a leading Global Technology and Business Services organisation. In this role you will use your extensive sales experience to lead the planning and execution process of selling, qualifying, and closing of large and/or difficult opportunities. You will acts as a subject matter expert on both the company and competitor offerings and services.
You will mentor less experienced personnel in sales generation. Your role will involve (but not be limited to) the following: Lead sales cycle from start to finish for large clients. Lead the qualification of opportunities and subsequent pursuit of all qualified opportunities within defined sales territory Work closely with the broader offerings groups to develop an account development plan for accounts within the assigned sales territory Provide leadership and direction to offerings team to drive solutioning of opportunities within the qualified sales pipeline across the defined sales territory.
Develop strategic business relationships with key decision makers including customer senior management. Builds relationships while positioning company for future prospects. Work closely with clients to address complex business problems by applying offerings.
May provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel and sales support team Basic Qualifications Twelve or more years of business development, sales or related experience Experience working on developing sales and solutions for clients within the financial services industry - exposure to any of the following preferred: Insurance Superannuation Wealth Management Experience working with the technology industry Experience working with technology products, services, competencies, solutions, and offerings Experience working with a standard sales methodology and supporting tools and applications Experience working with finance and accounting Other Qualifications Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the Board level Strong selling skills Strong communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back to both the client for confirmation and to the offering solutioning teams to create the response Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel Ability to lead and work in a team environment Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks Ability to work in a team environment Willingness to travel Strong negotiation skills To be considered for the role click the 'Apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Aaliyah Ismail on 02 9464 5704.
